Advance Medical Directives (Living Wills)
Sometimes life’s greatest challenge is the result of a disability, not death. If a person becomes terminally ill, those who have to care for them are forced to go through a cumbersome and expensive guardianship and conservatorship process. An Advance Medical Directive alleviates some of the pain, confusion, and frustration by giving those closest to you some direction as to what you would want, in the event of a medical emergency.
An Advance Medical Directive, sometimes referred to as a Living Will, gives an individual the ability to designate an agent and outline their specific medical treatment preferences well before tragedy strikes.
